Our next performer was an R & B singer, born August 18, 1939 in Kingstree, South Carolina. Her name was Maxine Brown and her first big hit would enter the Billboard Top 40 on January 30, 1961 (#19)-Maxine Brown and “All In My Mind”.

This next song was fairly popular but it seems to have been forgotten over the years. Randy Starr and Frank Metis would form an instrumental duo that would be known to us as The Islanders. Their hit would enter the Billboard Top 40 on October 15, 1959-it was called “The Enchanted Sea” (#15).

Our next performer was born Anthony Bellusci on April 17, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois. He would be known to us as Tony Bellus. His only hit would enter the Billboard Top 40 on June 29, 1959 (it would peak at #25 and remain on the Top 100 for 26 weeks, the longest time any song stayed on the Top 100 in 1959)-Here is Tony Bellus and “Robbin’ The Cradle”
