
Artist Spotlight #14-Eddie Cochran. Ray Edward Cochran was born October 3, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and raised in Albert Lea, Minnesota. He became an iconic figure in the early days of Rock And Roll and, even though his career was cut short by a tragic car accident on April 17, 1960, he would still find his way to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. The same accident that took his life would severely injure another rock star from this era, Gene Vincent
