The Jive Five featured the lead voice of Eugene Pitt. He was a member of a late 1950’s group called The Genies. The Jive Five had their first big hit in August 1961 with “My True Story” (#3).
Their biggest hit was “My True Story”, #3 in the country.
“Never, Never” would hit the charts in November 1961 (#74).
“These Golden Rings” was released in 1962.
“Beggin’ You Please” would be the flip side of “What Time Is It” (September 1962).
