Rosemarie Yuro was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 4, 1940. The music world knew her as Timi Yuro. She first entered the nation’s Top 40 in July of 1961 with her biggest hit-“Hurt” (it peaked at #4). “The little girl with the big voice”, Timi Yuro.



From July of 1961, her biggest hit-“Hurt”.
Timi’s 2nd biggest hit came in August of 1952, peaking at #6-“What’s A Matter Baby”.
From August of 1963, Timi’s version of “Make The World Go Away” (it would peak at #24).
This next record is a remake of a 1951 hit by Billy Eckstine. “I Apologize” will only reach #72 on the nation’s Top 100 in October of 1961.
