
Artist Spotlight #12-Lewis Lymon & Teenchords-they would come from Harlem, New York and they would feature the lead voice of Lewis Lymon (born June 20, 1944), the younger brother of Frankie Lymon. The rest of the group would consist of Rossilio Rocca, Lyndon Harold, David Little and Ralph Vaughn-they were an integrated group. Frankie and his group would hit the charts in 1956 while his younger brother, Lewis, would find limited success in 1957. None of the records by Lewis Lymon & The Teenchords found national success, but they did have some minor success on the East Coast.


Their most known recording would come from 1957-“I’m So Happy”.
Also from 1957, “Honey, Honey”.
The flip side of “Honey Honey” was “Please Tell The Angels”.
