In the latter part of the 1950’s, Danny Webb had been the manager for several Doo wop groups. All of these groups would have some form of his name, but only one would have national success. This group would be formed in Brooklyn, New York in 1958. They would be called The Danleers-their biggest hit was “One Summer Night” (June 1958-#7).
