They came from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and they would consist of David White, Frank Maffei, Joe Terranova and Danny Rapp (their lead singer). They were Danny & The Juniors and their biggest hit would hit the national charts in the latter part of 1957, a #1 hit called “At The Hop” (#1 for 7 weeks). This next song was their follow up hit from March of 1958-“Rock And Roll Is Here To Stay” (#19). They will appear on Dick Clark’s Saturday Night Beech Nut Show on February 22, 1958
