Dion had last been on the nation’s Top 40 in 1963. Now in December of 1968 he will go to #4 nationwide with a song that will check in at #11 on the KYA Top 60-it was called “Abraham, Martin & John”.
The next 2 songs will debut on the local charts this week, as the year 1968 draws to a close. Checking in at #51-The Bee Gees and their latest hit called “I Started A Joke”.
This next record would be the 14th Billboard Top 40 hit for Curtis Mayfield & The Impressions-it will be called “This Is My Country” and it will check in at #47 on the KYA Top 60 this week.
