They were another group that came from The Bronx, New York and they would feature the lead voice of Norman Fox. From 1959, Norman Fox & The Rob Roys and “Pizza Pie”

For many decades Cleve Duncan was the lead voice for The Penguins. This next song comes from 1963 and it is a nostalgic look back at the previous decade- “Memories Of El Monte” by The Penguins. They would be inducted into the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame in 2004.

James Sheppard had been the leader of The Heartbeats in the previous decade but now he would have a new group as the decade of the 60’s will begin. His new group will be called Shep & The Limelites and the group would consist of James Sheppard, Clarence Bassett and Charles Baskerville. They will score a big hit in 1961 with “Daddy’s Home”. Now in 1962 they will record “Gee Baby What About You”.
